...My latest commercial has just gone on air. We had loads of fun making this one... Giant inflatable teapot, tea spoon acrobats, aerial flying team and more silly tea themed costumes than you can shake a spoon at... Written by Nathalie Turton and Lorelei Mathias with Trevor Beattie at BMB...

Palm Springs Winner...

So I won an award at Palm Springs for my short film Lost & Found!!! Not bad for a film made in just two days! - Lost & Found was made for and won the 48 Hour Film Challenge.

Lab Rats BIFF nominations...

...not just a befuddled bad guy in Back To The Future. It stands for the British Independent Film Festival and my short film Lab Rats has made the official selection. It has also been nominated for three awards - Best Short Film, Best Cinematography and Best Supporting Actress.

It is screening on Saturday May 12th at 1100am at the Empire Cinema Leicester Square. If you fancy it, you can grab a ticket here...

Frozen Filming...

So, I'm up in the French Alps in Val Thorens doing a bit of filming with my buddy Lon Canu. Some great shots going down. Here's one shot as a little taster. I love everything about this shot - The camera is set up at the end of a flat rail which has perspex sides. This gives us nice back-light through the perspex with some nice lens flare and when the board is on the rail you also get a reflection in the perspex. And the slowed sound is fun too.

48 Hour Film Challenge WINNER!!!

Yup... that's right... I won the Smoke & Mirrors 48 Hour Film Challenge! This is great news on so many levels, non more so than the main prize, which is a first-look development deal for a feature film.

Despite the hang-over, I'm incredibly excited and just want to say thanks again to everyone who helped out on the film.

48 Hour Film Challenge Finals...

So, a few weeks back, I entered the Smoke & Mirrors 48 Hour Film Challenge - a theme is announced at 7pm on Friday and you have until 7pm on Sunday to write, film and edit a 5 minute film... which is not easy.

With the help of a stunning cast and wonderful crew, my film has been short listed for the final. Very fun news for a Friday.
